Do You Have Business Intelligence?

Find me on:

Today, business moves at a phenomenal pace, with decisions needing to be made on the spur of the moment, often requiring the consideration of large sums of money, inventory, personnel, and other important aspects of business.

Business Intelligence is the key to making the right decisions.

While you can often relatively accurately anticipate your inventory numbers, estimate your revenue, foresee the needs of your employees, and assess the state of your company without hard numbers, this isn’t how you should be running your business on a regular basis. Knowing these numbers as fact rather than forecast will go a long way to ensuring your success.

You also need to have a way to track your inventory, understand your purchasing trends, balance your payroll, and know what percentage of your revenue is going back into things like rent, utilities, and employee salaries. How are the departments working together? How is the use of this year’s budget comparing to the use of last year’s budget?

So how do you make sure you know these things as fact and not forecast?

With Sage’s Intelligence Reporting. Sage’s Intelligence Reporting is compatible with all versions – standard, Knowledge_over_Ignoranceadvanced, and premium – of Sage 100 ERP and has everything you need to determine the true health of your company on a daily basis. With dashboards that can be populated overnight rather than bogging down the servers in the morning, you can glance at all the information you need to keep your business healthy. See something that doesn’t look right? With Sage’s Intelligence Reporting, you have the option of drilling down into any area and get more a more detailed view.

You can design, view, and organize reports that can then be sent automatically to whomever needs them whenever you want them to have them and to wherever it’s easiest to receive them. Does one manager prefer email and one prefers a printout? Sage’s Business Intelligence allows you to automate and schedule any preference.

There’s also a Connector module that allows you to view reports for multiple databases – other Sage 100 ERP databases, any ODBC compliant data source, other Sage products, such as Sage HRMS, and/or other third-party solutions.
