We Want. . .a self-motivated business analyst, an experienced consultant that has worked with Sage X3, Sage 500, Epicor, Dynamics NAV / AX, JD Edwards, QAD or like solutions, a bright individual with a deep knowledge of distribution, and at least exposure to a manufacturing environment, a team player with a strong work ethic.
What You’ll be doing . . .
- Assess clients’ needs to understand business operations, design and execute an implementation strategy best utilizing the solutions we offer.
- Writing business requirements and functional solution designs for customizations.
- Working with clients to implement industry best practices.
- Training our clients’ core team members
- Providing guidance to the initial setup of key data
- Transferring product and process knowledge to clients.
- Assisting clients in determining and documenting their business procedures.
- Supporting clients (both core team and end users) during conference room pilots, go live and ongoing special projects.
- Establishing and promoting a positive relationship with our clients’ Operations and Finance departments.
The experience, education, skills and qualities you must bring with you. . .
- 2+ years experience in implementing ERP solutions. (Sage 500, Epicor, Dynamics NAV / AX, JD Edwards, QAD or like product)
- Bachelor’s degree business or IT related field, background in Operations, Manufacturing, Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and work with users at all technical levels.
- Experience with SQL Server and linking tables for purposes of reporting.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical issues and procedures.
- Ability to write business correspondence and knowledgebase articles.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
- Exhibit industry best practice knowledge, subject matter expertise and understanding.
- Demonstrate and encourage others with a zeal for new knowledge, experiences, and challenges. Regularly create and take advantage of learning opportunities.
