Does owning a business sometimes feel like a hassle? Especially marketing, where it seems like the great market campaign that you put out last week is already obsolete? Or that your advertising doesn’t seem to be being seen?
Fortunately, when it comes down to marketing, there are some tips about the best way to get your product out there with much less frustration and way more fun.

Keep these next ideas in mind when you plan your future marketing goals:
Add Some Pizazz
You’re a consumer too. Which kind of advertising grabs your attention most? Not those insanely loud TV commercials that are so annoying that you mute them, right? But maybe a billboard that’s nice a bright when you’re driving home from work every day. Or a product with a catchy slogan or a funny jingle.
Keep these ideas in mind when you create your own marketing items. Whether you plan, design, and/or create your own pamphlets, fliers, business cards, etc., remember that how these items look is as important as what they say – if your consumers aren’t drawn in by the design, they won’t bother to read the content.
Use Social Media
In the current business environment, the best way to go with marketing is online. The time and cost benefits for using social media mean that you absolutely cannot ignore this form of marketing, because not only will creating a social media account can get you more attention than any other form of marketing, almost all social messaging outlets are free. There is Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, among others. If you get enough follows and post the right message, your information will be shared, retweeted, etc. to possibly millions of people.
Be careful what you post, though – several businesses have found themselves on the evening news for poor marketing campaigns. With social media, it’s also easier for customers to complain, so keep it simple and non-controversial.
Utilize People's Gift of Gab
People love to share their opinions. See if you can incorporate this love into your marketing campaign. Offer incentives for customers who tell people how great you, your company, and your services/products are. Offer them 10% off if they “like” or “share” something of yours on Facebook or Twitter. See if you can find customers who will agree to make a video testimonial and post that on your blog or on your social media news feed. People believe their friends.
Listen to Your Customers
Your marketing campaign isn’t working and you don’t know why.
Have you asked your current customers? They may have your older product but haven’t upgraded to the new one or perhaps they started using a different businesses products. Reach out to them. Offer incentives for filling out email surveys. Poll the customers who physically enter your facility. As we said, people love to share their opinions; they won’t be shy about sharing them with you too.
Make sure you use this information to change your marketing strategy, however, or you just put a lot of work into nothing.
