Reverse Applications
This new feature makes it easier to correct payments, memos, or finance charges that were applied incorrectly and/or to the wrong invoice. Up until this latest version of Sage 500 ERP, correcting errors was a time-consuming and manual process. With Reverse Applications, however, the process is automated – now your accounting department can quickly correct errors as they happen.
Expanded Email Fields
Sage 500 ERP Version 2014 helps you manage your contacts more efficiently with fields that accommodate longer email addresses. Previous software versions could process only 40 characters per email field, but the 2014 incarnation handles the industry standard of 255 characters.
Improved Clarity
Do your employees waste time because they can’t figure out which shipment they’re working with? They won’t with Sage 500 ERP Version 2014 because it offers sales order and shipping numbers front and center where you need them – sales order numbers are on invoices and shipment numbers are in the Generate Shipments application.
Better Inventory Management
Sage 500 ERP Version 2014 now offers Sage Inventory Advisor as a cloud-based service that continuously monitors and analyzes your data. It provides forecasting and replenishment recommendations, helps you reduce excess inventory, and lowers carrying costs while eliminating stock-outs. Your inventory management will also benefit from Sage Inventory Advisor’s supplier performance tracking and order scheduling and management.
Sage Payment Solutions
Your customers will now have more convenience and flexibility for payment processing. Sage 500 ERP Version 2014 now communicates with the ACH Network. The ACH Network is a system that allows electronic payments to clear for participating financial institutions, which means that you now have the benefits of electronic funds transfer (EFT), including the ability to electronically process cash receipts, business-to-business payments, and e-commerce payments – quickly and conveniently.
