Sage ERP X3 is, as we like to reiterate from time to time, the most powerful and flexible solution for businesses that want to grow competitively and cost effectively – even with limited resources.
And in November 2013, the newest release of Sage ERP X3 – version 6.5 – became available.
The newest version of Sage ERP X3 has several enhancements, including incorporating many features that used to be add-ons into the core system.
The new 6.5 release also introduces cloud services for Sage Sales Tax and Sage ERP X3 Shipping.
Other enhancements include:
- More control over your documents – Electronic Document Management and Electronic Document Distribution allow you to control the flow of your documentation.
- Unlimited notes – you can now add an unlimited number of notes to your inventory items, specify where the notes are displayed and who can see them, and include links to associated information.
- Better financial reporting – Sage Financial Reporting offers new reporting models. Your organization’s finances can be viewed in multiple ways; in addition, you can establish automatic report distribution; they can be published to an FTP site, and/or emailed.
- More precise control over your receipts and invoices – Sage ERP X3’s Three Way Matching gives you the ability to determine in advance how much deviation you’re willing to allow between receipts/invoices and the original purchase order.
- A streamlined tax reporting process – a professionally maintained sales tax engine allows you to automatically apply address, jurisdiction, and rate information to all transactions. Supplier payments are easier to track and your 1099 and 1096 data can be exported to Microsoft Excel.
- Improved accounts payable and accounts receivable – you can increase customer loyalty by using accounts payable and accounts receivable to monitor discounts offered for early payment. The function allows you to set a date range or to always apply the discount based on a set grace period, etc.
